BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING

Present: Commissioner Binder, Commissioner Noah, Commissioner Hill, Chief Billmire, Assistant Chief de Jong, Jay Mentzer, Matt Caldwell, Jason Lawhorn, August Wheeler, Beau Frick, Matt McMahan, Jill Chapman, and Pat Dumont.
Commissioner Binder called the meeting to order at 07:02.
Motion:  Commissioner Hill moved to approve the minutes from the June 14, 2017 budget meetings.

Motion carried

Chief Billmire read the financial report.

Motion:  Commissioners reviewed the financial report and Commissioner Noah moved to pay the bills as presented.

OLD BUSINESS:

Chief Billmire gave an update on the RFP.

REPORTS:
VOLUNTEERS: Matt Caldwell reported on the volunteers.

LOCAL 4564: August Wheeler reported on Local 4564.

EMS: Jill Chapman, Jay Mentzer, August Wheeler, and Chief Billmire reported on EMS.

PREVENTION/INSPECTIONS: Assistant Chief de Jong reported on prevention/inspections.

TRAINING: Chief Billmire and Assistant Chief de Jong reported on volunteers.

APPARATUS/EQUIPMENT: Beau Frick reported on apparatus and equipment.

ADMINISTRATION: Pat and Assistant Chief de Jong reported on administration.

MONTHLY REPORT: Chief Billmire reviewed the monthly report.

NEW BUSINESS

Chief Billmire reported on the new hire and promotion processes.

Motion:  Commissioner Binder made a motion to adjourn.

Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 08:10.
