Citizen involvement in potentially emergent situation can be the difference between simple accident and a catastrophe, even life and death.  Know when to act is not always obvious, and more rarely people don't know how to act in these situation.  The training opportunities provided on this page can help both situation,  but more importantly help McCall Fire Protection District's response by intervening or slowing the event down.  

CPR and First Aid Training

McCall Fire and EMS Provides CPR and First Aid to the Community:
  1. Free American Heart Hands only CPR awareness via online training.  A hands on skills option provided the the 4th Wednesday of every other month, beginning in January, to put the knowledge in action.

  2. CPR/First Aid Certification for Groups- fees apply
    1. This is designed for work place OSHA requirements 
    2. Minimum 6 person

Wildland Urban Interface Assessment (WUIA)

MFPD can provide a free WUI assessment of you property and home to help you better prepare for a wildfire.  Assessments are scheduled as needed.  To make an appointment email  Captain Jake Class at jake@mccallfire.com
